Yoga classes

Celeste Bull, Certified 300 Hour Precision Alignment Yoga Instructor, is offering free pop up yoga classes at 9 a.m. Saturdays.

Class will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Pavilion in Daytona Beach Shores, 3048 S. Atlantic Ave.

Class will meet Saturday, Jan. 16, at Earl Brown Park, 750 S. Alabama Ave., DeLand.

Classes are for any level, even those without a shred of yoga experience. Participants should bring their own mats.

Pictona

Pictona is offering Rec Games 101, a free clinic, from 10 a.m. to noon Fridays at 1060 Ridgewood Ave, Holly Hill.

The two-hour, hands-on class, limited to eight, teaches shuffleboard, Bocce Ball, horseshoes and croquet.

Pictona also offers Stretch & Flex from 10 to 11 a.m. Mondays and Gentle Yoga from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays. Membership not required. The cost is donation-based ($3-6).

Nova Community Center

Nova Community Center is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 1 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at 440 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach.

Pickleball and basketball are offered Monday to Saturday. Basketball is played Sunday.

Reservations are necessary. The cost is free for residents or $4 daily for yearly membership for non-residents.

South Ormond Neighborhood Center

South Ormond Neighborhood Center is open from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at 176 Division Ave., Ormond Beach.

The center has baseball fields, outdoor tennis and basketball.

Ormond Beach Tennis Center

Ormond Beach Tennis Center is open from 8 a.m. to noon and 3 to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday at 38 E. Granada Blvd.

The center features eight lighted clay tennis courts. Monthly memberships or daily court rentals available.

Yoga in the Gallery

Yoga in the Gallery will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art, 352 S. Nova Road, Daytona Beach.

Meet in the lobby. Class is open to all experience levels. Participants should bring a mat, towel and water. Space is limited and registration is required. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.

Take a dip at Daytona Beach pools

The City of Daytona Beach offers swimming pool access at the Campbell Aquatic Center, 400 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and the Cypress Aquatic Center, 981 George W. Engram Blvd.

Visitors will have their temperature checked before entrance and should adhere to social distancing. Groups are restricted to 10 or less people.
