Schools laptop deployment scheduled
Volusia County Schools will remain closed and distance learning will continue until May 1.
Middle and High School Laptop Deployment Schedule will be from 7 to 10 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. on these days.
•Monday, April 6: Creekside Middle, DeLand Middle, Galaxy Middle, Ormond Beach Middle, New Smyrna Beach High, Spruce Creek High, DeLand High and Deltona High
•Tuesday, April 7: Hinson Middle, Campbell Middle, Deltona Middle, River Springs Middle, Seabreeze High, University High and Mainland High.
•Wednesday, April 8: New Smyrna Beach Middle, Heritage Middle, Holly Hill, Silver Sands Middle, Southwestern Middle, Taylor Middle and High, Atlantic High and Pine Ridge High.

Interim official picked for enrollment management
Stetson University has selected Ray Nault to serve as interim vice president of enrollment management while the university conducts a search to replace Joel Bauman, who announced his departure March 25.
Mr. Bauman will complete the academic year at Stetson and begin his duties as senior vice president of enrollment management at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh July 13.
Mr. Nault is returning to Stetson after serving this past fall as interim director of financial aid. Mr. Nault is president and CEO of College Aid Services in Miami, which focuses on providing customized solutions to improve the student experience at higher education institutions across the country.
Mr. Nault will begin his position at Stetson July 6.
