Daytona Beach Police Department

•Frank K. Powers, 36, of Daytona Beach, was arrested Feb. 24 and charged with domestic battery by strangulation and tampering with a witness by preventing communication to law enforcement. Bail was not set.

•Cheyenne M. Hopkins, 30, of Daytona Beach, was arrested Feb. 24 and charged with battery and battery on person 65 years of age or older. Bail was not set.

•Jordon J. Carty, 24, of Daytona Beach, was arrested Feb. 24 and charged with possession of firearm on school property and discharging a firearm on school property. Bail was set at $15,000.

•Juan C. Hernandez Silva, 25, of Daytona Beach, was arrested March 2 and charged with domestic battery by strangulation and tampering with a witness. Bail was set at $25,000.

•Ryan L. Gravitt, 46, of Daytona Beach, was arrested March 2 and charged with burglary of a conveyance and trespassing after warning. Bail was set at $3,000.

•Joseph A Trygar, 48, of Daytona Beach, was arrested March 2 and charged with trespassing and possession of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $2,250.

•Robert C. Vernon, 67, of Daytona Beach, was arrested March 2 and charged with possession of cocaine and cannabis and open container of alcohol in public place. Bail was set at $3,100.

•Thomas Harrell, 58, of Daytona Beach, was arrested March 2 and charged with dealing in stolen property. Bail was set at $10,000.

•Jermaine L. Long, 41, of Daytona Beach, was arrested March 2 and charged with failure of sex offender to properly register and refusing to leave public property. Bail was not set.

Ormond Beach Police Department

•Ryan E. Simpson, 33, of Ormond Beach, was arrested Feb. 25 and charged with battery and violation of condition of pretrial release. Bail was set at $5,000.

•Rocco J. Vitarelli, 22, of Ormond Beach, was arrested Feb. 27 and charged with petit theft and possession of Fentanyl. Bail was set at $3,000.

•Christina Diedo, 33, of Ormond Beach, was arrested March 1 and charged with aggravated assault and battery. Bail was not set.

•James D. Riley, 28, of Ormond Beach, was arrested March 2 and charged with dealing in stolen property, uttering false bank note with intent to fraud and accessory after the fact to grand theft. Bail was set at $5,500.

•John Frederic Edgar, 40, of Daytona Beach, was arrested Feb. 24 and charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant person. Bail was not set.

•Brandee D. Harrison, 33, of Ormond Beach, was arrested Feb. 24 and charged with possession of paraphernalia and methamphetamine. Bail was not set.

•Justin Tyler Heger, 32, of Ormond Beach, was arrested Feb. 25 and charged with child abuse and battery. Bail was not set.

•Mose Merriti, 33, of Daytona Beach, was arrested Feb. 26 and charged with resisting an officer without violence, and possession of cannabis and Fentanyl. Bail was set at $3,500.

•Donald B. Akers, 36, of New Smyrna Beach, was arrested March 1 and charged with other crimes, battery on a law enforcement officer and resist arrest with violence. Bail was set at $2,250.

•Kevin E. Conner, 37, of New Smyrna Beach, was arrested March 1 and charged with possession of methamphetamine and petit theft. Bail was set at $3,000.

•Lucas J. Raverty, 44, of New Smyrna Beach, was arrested March 2 and charged with battery on person 65 years of age or older. Bail was not set.

•Alexis K. Waller, 29, of Edgewater, was arrested Feb. 24 and charged with aggravated battery and resisting an officer without violence. Bail was set at $3,000.

•Martha L. Gal, 57, of Edgewater, was arrested Feb. 27 and charged with aggravated battery. Bail was not set.

•Eddie J. Evans, 42, of Edgewater, was arrested March 2 and charged with possession of vehicle without serial number and possession/sale vehicle with altered VIN. Bail was set at $5,000.

•Josef D. Griffin, 22, of Edgewater, was arrested Feb. 27 and charged with possession of sexual performance by a child enhanced. Bail was set at $5.5 million.

•Mark Robert Topper, 77, of Port Orange, was arrested Feb. 24 and charged with leaving scene of crash with injury-vulnerable road user. Bail was set at $2,500.

•Zachary M. Hether, 38, of Port Orange, was arrested Feb. 27 and charged with possession of Fentanyl. Bail was set at $2,500.

•Darryl Steven Leverett, 55, of Port Orange, was arrested Feb. 27 and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possess ion of paraphernalia to transport drugs. Bail was set at $52,500.

•Nathan Shane Chapman, 29, of Port Orange, was arrested Feb. 28 and charged with use of paraphernalia to transport drugs and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. Bail was set at $5,000.

•Patrick Ernest Chapman, 64, of Port Orange, was arrested Feb. 28 and charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon, a drug offense, possession of cannabis and use of paraphernalia to transport drugs. Bail was not set.

•Savannah J. Jordan, 36, of South Daytona, was arrested March 2 and charged with sexual battery on victim 12 years old of age of older with special condition. Bail was set at $20,000.

•Marilyn E. Santiago, 38, of Deltona, was arrested Feb. 24 and charged with possession of motor vehicle with altered numbers, use of identification of another without consent, passing altered instrument and filing of false or fraudulent lien. Bail was set at $120,000.
