•Jermaine L. Long, 41, of Daytona Beach, was arrested March 2 and charged with failure of sex offender to properly register and refusing to leave public property. Bail was not set.

•Ryan E. Simpson, 33, of Ormond Beach, was arrested Feb. 25 and charged with battery and violation of condition of pretrial release. Bail was set at $5,000.
