Rocket Man

Rocket Man, a premier Elton John Tribute Band, will perform at the Daytona Beach Bandshell as part of the Boardwalk Merchants and the Friends of the Bandshell free Star Spangled Summer Concert Series.

While Rocketman plays at the cinemas, you can see Rocket Man, a premier Elton John Tribute, at the Daytona Beach Bandshell at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, June 8, as part of the Boardwalk Merchants and the Friends of the Bandshell free Star Spangled Summer Concert Series.

Rocket Man’s show is complete with a full stage and sound production team, costume designer and ultra-modern LED and laser light show.

Spot on vocals, a solid wall of fierce piano playing, feather boas, a whole lotta’ sunglasses and gorgeous costumes (actually owned by Elton John) has earned the show an endorsement by the official Elton John Fan Club and the Elton John AIDS Foundation and promises to create a magical and memorable night for everyone.

Rocket Man is a professional act that has played top casinos and popular venues like Hard Rock Cafés, B.B. Kings, and many theaters throughout the USA. Rocket Man delivers an insanely energetic performance, throwing around cool jams such as “Saturday Night’s Alright” and “Pinball Wizard,” before sending audiences exploding into space with extended ‘70s instrumental versions of “Rocket Man,” “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” “Your Song,” “Daniel” and “Bennie and The Jets.”

The concert will be followed by Light Up Daytona fireworks over the Atlantic Ocean at 9:45 p.m.

Bandshell parking is available at the nearby Ocean Center garage and surface lots. Chair rentals and drinks to buy are available.
