The Riverfest Seafood Festival is back in Ormond Beach after a one year hiatus.
More than two dozen food vendors will be lined up Saturday, Nov. 20, and Sunday, Nov. 21, in Rockefeller Gardens and Fortunato Park.
There also will be live music, boats, paddleboardspaddleboards, children’s activities and a draft beer garden with TVs.
Saturday features country with BLU Highway, '60s rock with Emperor Napoleon, and R&B artist Amy Alysia and the Soul Operation. Ease into your Sunday with Beachside Music, then rock the day away with Grand Theft Audio and We Are Electric.
There will be flat-screen TVs playing all the weekend’s biggest rivalries in the beer garden.
The event features two days of water activities, including rides on the Seabreacher submersible and visits from the Super Petrel hydroplane. There will be boats and water toys displayed on the festival grounds.
The children's fishing clinic will be sponsored by Fish Florida, Hull’s Seafood, Nauti Pets, Innovative Bookkeeping and Florida Fish and Wildlife. Children ages four to 12 can go through the learning stations to find out more about casting, knot tying and ethical angling. There will be 300 free fishing poles distributed while supplies last.
In the Kid's Zone, there will be crafts; jump, bounce and climb; putt-putt; face painting and paint the Spanos car. The Early Learning Coalition’s bus will offer games and free hearing and vision tests.
Riverfest hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. There is free admission, free parking and a free shuttle service from remote parking lots.
