A Valentine comedy gift, by Nancy Frick, “4 Weddings and an Elvis” opens Feb 14 and runs through Feb 23, at Daytona Playhouse, 100 Jessamine Blvd., Daytona Beach.
Sandy (Tara Kissling), the four-times-married-three-times-divorced owner of a wedding chapel in Las Vegas, has certainly seen her fair share of matrimonies.
In this hilarious and heart-warming romantic comedy, meet Bev (Robin Bassett) and Stan (Mike Mitchener), who are getting married by Minister John (Peter Gould) as revenge on their exes.
Minister Lou (Barry Kite) ties the knot for Vanessa (Madeleine Borth) and Bryce (Rick Osborn), two arrogant aging stars who are marrying as a publicity ploy. Enter Martin (Ryan LeVeille) and Fiona (Heather Strickland), a gentle postal-worker and a tough ex-con and her buddy Fist (Fortunato Seveninni). Then one last ceremony that will warm your heart and put you in the perfect Valentine mood.
Come enjoy four acts of love, sort of. What happens in Las Vegas ... is hilarious.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 55 and older and $8 for 18 and younger.
