London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Peabody Auditorium, 600 Auditorium Blvd., Daytona Beach.

With a not-to-be-missed concert, the British are coming to Daytona Beach for a special evening with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Presented by the Daytona Beach Symphony Society at Peabody Auditorium, 600 Auditorium Blvd., Daytona Beach, the concert will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18.

The Royal Philharmonic concert will feature Khatia Buniatishvili performing Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 2.

Additional programming for the night includes Wm. Walton and Sibelius with Mark Wigglesworth conducting one of the most prestigious orchestras in the world.

There will be a fundraising dinner at 5 p.m. in the Rose Room (reservations required). Also Dr. Douglas Peterson will give a free Pre-Performance Talk at 6 p.m. in the auditorium.

“This concert will most certainly be an evening to remember,” said Christine Gerhardt, DBSS managing director.
