As part of the City of Daytona Beach's Summer Concert Series and Friends Of The Bandshell’s Star Spangled Summer Concert Series, a Tampa band will play multiple band tributes at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, and Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Bandshell
For a Best of British Show, the band will play a tribute to Judas Priest Friday.
The band's expansion of its Best of British project took off in 2018, with stand-alone Queen, Def Leppard and Judas Maiden shows filling the calendar as well as Highway To Hell shows.
Already 2019 is shaping up to be a banner year, as the Absolute Queen show has been selling out. The band has planed the House of Blues Orlando, House Of Blues Myrtle Beach, Village Door Resort in the Florida Panhandle and the Key West Theatre.
For 13 years, the band has traveled internationally as Highway to Hell to bring their high-energy, fan-friendly AC/DC tribute show to all types of audiences. Attendees can expect incredible vocals, and powerful rhythms. Highway to Hell plays songs spanning the entire 40-year career of AC/DC, songs made famous by both of AC/DC's legendary singers, Bon Scott and Brian Johnson.
This band is proud to be the only AC/DC tribute to have members share the stage with AC/DC’s Brian Johnson and Cliff Williams.
AC/DC fans can expect to hear top hits, such as “Back In Black,” “Highway To Hell,” “You Shook Me All Night Long,” “Thunderstruck,” “Shoot To Thrill,” “Hells Bells” and “T.N.T.”
Admission is free, but VIP tickets are available that include a seat near the stage for $10. They are available at ticketmaster.com, the Peabody Auditorium Box Office at 600 Auditorium Blvd. and at the Bandshell’s box office on show nights.
Bandshell parking is available at the nearby Ocean Center garage and surface lots. Attendees parking in the Ocean Center garage can take the pedestrian overpass to the Bandshell, rent a chair, purchase a drink and enjoy the free show and fireworks
