The Boardwalk Merchants and Friends of the Bandshell will present Never Stop Believin', a tribute to Journey, at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Daytona Beach Bandshell.
What if Steve Perry returned to Journey? That is the dream of every Journey fan. Never Stop Believin', the premiere tribute show to Journey will not disappoint. Never Stop Believin’ has been rocking stages all over the U.S. and beyond since 2008 and are bringing it to Daytona Beach.
Journey fans that dream of seeing the lineup that dominated arenas worldwide in the late '70s, '80s and '90s won't believe their eyes and ears. Never Stop Believin' plays tribute to the look and sound of Journey and is fronted by the incredible vocals and the presence of Billy Lindley who looks just like Steve Perry.
The show starts out like seeing Journey playing the Evolution and Departure albums in 1978 then jump to the mid '80s look with a costume change mid-show and the audience will feel like they are seeing the Escape and Frontiers albums tours.
Here the hits “Any Way You Want It,” “Wheel In The Sky,” “Open Arms,” “Who's Crying Now,” “Faithfully,” “Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin’, Lights,” and “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
